• Responsible for visual content for daily live shots within multiple newscasts.

• Respond quickly to breaking news while taking direction and interacting with the assignment desk, reporters/anchors, media center, and appropriate NBC personnel.

• Gather compelling video, natural sound and work with others to make sure it makes the newscast.

• Microwave truck operator / tune in shots with the media center / set-up live shots.

• Daily checks of equipment for shoots.

• Take photos while on stories to add to social media outlets.

• Strong storytelling, editorial, interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Work closely with producers, reporters and anchors to build strong visual elements for morning and evening newscasts.
